“Community College of Aurora President Mordecai Brownlee, who noted that his school now works with employers in areas like education and nursing on specific certificate programs, said he’d like to expand the list of collaborative industries and the ways he can serve them. Rather than multiyear programs, for example, he’d like to hear proposals from companies in sectors from cybersecurity to clean energy about how CCA might be able to retrain underemployed workers in courses from five to 12 weeks to fill their needs and help those firms grow.” - Dr. Mordecai Brownlee
